Stay tuned for future sessions in this series, covering topics such as impacts of fire and smoke on urban areas, improving wildfire risk tools, fire weather, understanding and forecasting wildfires and smoke, the intersection of fire, drought and floods, and fire preparedness.
This webinar will explore research on the multifaceted relationship between drought and wildfires. The presentations will highlight the various factors that drive fire risk during drought conditions and explore how different drought indices can be used to enhance the National Fire Danger Rating System.
