About the event
The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI), American Public Health Association (APHA), and ecoAmerica are partnering to offer the Public Health Actions for Extreme Heat Protections Training. Expand your knowledge and impact on addressing the health effects of extreme heat on individuals and populations with this free training. This course will provide you with tools to inspire a variety of audiences, including clinicians, public health professionals, policymakers, and community members, to take action on extreme heat protections. Three continuing education credits are available upon completion.
At the end of the training, you are invited to join the vibrant online community of thousands of fellow Ambassadors. You will be supported with regular advocacy opportunities, networking events, and workshops, and have access to the slides from this training and additional resources developed exclusively for Ambassadors.
