Become a Member

Membership is crucial to supporting a diverse network of professionals who share resources and best practices about resilience and climate adaptation in the U.S. Southeast and Caribbean.

In line with our mission, SCDRP participation is freely available to anyone with an interest in learning and sharing about resilience and climate adaptation. It is critical that all voices, regardless of ability to pay, can join this dialogue.

 

Our listserv is now our 550+ participants from all resilience sectors and interests share information and resources such as:

  • webinars and online events

  • important policy or legislation updates

  • regional updates, newsletters, important announcements

  • calls for serving on committees

  • job opportunities in resilience-related fields

  • calls for proposals and funding announcements

  • calls for input on tools and products from members

Annual Memberships

Participant Membership - Pay what you can

A Participant Membership includes one annual subscription to our listserv and newsletters, and the invitation to join our monthly virtual Partnership Meetings.

​

Student Membership - $50 

The involvement of the next generation of resilience professionals is critical to generating new ideas, representing different perspectives, and increasing the strength of the partnership. Student Members enjoy a full year of Individual Membership benefits for a reduced fee. Student Members are eligible to apply for a need-based scholarship to cover registration fees for our in-person Annual Meetings.

Individual Membership - $100 

Individual Members are the foundation of the SCDRP and are critical to the continued information-sharing and relationship-building provided by the Partnership. Annual Individual Membership includes:

  • one annual subscription to our listserv and newsletters

  • invitations to participate in our virtual Monthly Partnership Meetings

  • the ability to serve on working groups and committees

  • the ability to vote in SCDRP Elections

  • the ability to be nominated to serve on the SCDRP Advisory Board

  • the ability to participate in planning the Annual Meeting

  • eligibility to apply for a need-based scholarship to cover the registration fees for our in-person Annual Meeting

 

Supporting Partner Group Membership - $1,000+ 

Supporting Partner Group Memberships are essential to sustaining the dialogue and knowledge exchange that the Partnership provides. Annual Supporting Partner Group Membership benefits include:

  • Two complimentary annual Individual Memberships and all benefits associated with these Individual Memberships​

  • Recognition at the SCDRP Annual Meeting, Monthly Partnership Meetings, and on social media pathways

  • Display of your organization’s logo on SCDRP websites and presentations

 

Sustaining Partner Group Membership - $2,500+ 

A Sustaining Partner Group Membership provides more individuals to join in the support of building resilience across communities in our region and support the mission of the SCDRP. Annual Sustaining Partner Group Membership benefits include:

  • Three complimentary annual Individual Memberships and all benefits associated with these Individual Memberships​

  • Recognition at the SCDRP Annual Meeting, Monthly Partnership Meetings, and on social media pathways

  • Display of your organization’s logo on SCDRP websites and presentations

Benefactor Group Membership - $5,000+ 

Benefactor Group Members are the backbone of Partnership support. The contributions of Benefactor Group Members help facilitate sharing of resources, best practices, and approaches that enhance community capacity and resilience. Benefactor Group Membership benefits include:

  • Four complimentary annual Individual Memberships and all benefits associated with these Individual Memberships​

  • Recognition at the SCDRP Annual Meeting, Monthly Partnership Meetings, and on all social media pathways
