SCDRP Membership

Membership serves to support SCDRP and our mission in various ways.

Membership Tiers 

We are now offering membership options for our participants that will help the SCDRP further its goal in becoming a growing and diverse network of resilience and climate adaptation professionals living and working in the region.  Please check out the different ways you can support the SCDRP and the benefits of officially joining.  

 

The annual membership cycle covers APRIL 1 to MARCH 31.

We want to be sure to remain open to everyone who's interested in resilience and climate adaptation and isn't sure about joining yet.

Our list-serve is how the over 300 participants from all resilience sectors and interests share information such as:

• webinars and online events

• important policy or legislation updates;

• regional updates, newsletters, important  announcements,

• calls for serving on committees;

• job opportunities in resilience-related fields,

• calls for proposals and funding announcements

• calls for input on tools and products from members

Partner

Members are the life of our organization.  In line with our mission, SCDRP membership provides benefits of engaging the partnership and sharing ideas as a forum dedicated to resilience and climate adaptation issues from all sides. 

 

As a member, you:

• Are added on the SCDRP mailing list and have access to a members-only list-serve.

• Are able to organize and lead ad-hoc working groups/committees;

• Can direct and organize special-topic sessions at annual meetings;

• Will receive a 25% discount on annual meeting registration fees.

We want our next generation of resilience professionals involved as the input of new ideas and perspectives is what makes a community strong.

 

Students get 50% off the full Member cost and enjoy full member-benefits

We hope to see some student-led sessions in meetings to come!

Benefactor

As a group, we pay attention to how resilience and climate adaptation issues evolve on a larger scope, both conceptually and regionally. We hope to serve partner-efforts with added member benefits.

 

As Partner-level members, you:

• Are added on the SCDRP open list-serve and can opt in on a members-only list-serve.

• Are able to organize and lead ad-hoc working groups/committees;

• Can direct and organize special-topic sessions at annual meetings;

• Receive one complimentary annual meeting registration and 25% off a second. 

• If you are an organization, you can designate up to two individuals to represent the organization as official members.  

• add organizational material/brochure to annual meeting program materials.

For benefactors, we know outreach is among your primary goals.  We wanted to make sure to facilitate sharing ideas by providing every opportunity to directly engage with the SCDRP community. 

Benefactor-level members/designees:

• Are added on the SCDRP open list-serve and can opt in on a members-only list-serve.

• Are able to organize and lead ad-hoc working groups/committees;

• Can direct and organize special-topic sessions at annual meetings;

• Will be provided space to set up an exhibit at the SCDRP annual meeting and two complimentary meeting registrations and 25% off a third.

• If the Benefactor is an organization, that group can designate up to five individuals with member status to represent the organization.
